Default Another Headlight Problem 93ES300

I purchased some headlights from ebay for a 1996 ES300. Turns out these are JDM headlights. The Z pattern is higher on the left and lower on the right, I know it is supposed to be vise-versa in the US. My brother said we may be able to change out the heat shield from the older headlights and swap them into the new ones, however is uncertain because he is not familiar with the projector assembly. Is this possible, any ideas?

Cool

No it's not.
The best you can do is cut part of the old heat shield out, then weld / jb weld / epoxy a new custom shield in.

Sounds like a lot of work Pheonix, I'll take apart the old one's to locate the heat shield. Are you saying I should cut it off the heat shield from both lights and weld on the old ones to the set I want to use?
