it surprises me that the front is now lower than the back.

usually, even though you get springs, the front is sitll always taller.

but, I guess we'll have to see

where are the pics?

hey gato, the front isn't neccessarily lowered than the back. its even now. stock car, the front wheel well gap was huge compared to the rear. its F 1.5" and R 1" drop.

05ES330, your car looks great with the drop. I just picked up an 03 ES300 and am looking to get rid of the large front gap. Out of curiosity, was the ride any different after lowering it and did you have to get the car re-aligned?

the car rides great. i have on 35 series tires which are very small, i wish i would have gotten 40 series tho. now that i have them on for a while, the springs have settled and the car is a tad bit lowered. the ride quality is still great on these tanabe springs. supposedly as stated by tanabe the spring rates on these springs are only like 5-10% stiffer than the stock springs. I have not taken my car to be re-aligned yet. My camber looks like its in good shape too. but then again, this is judging from what i see on my tires and how my rims are sitting. once i get a computer read out, then i will let y'll know

I know this thread is old but I've been desperately searching for these Tanabe springs for my 05 es330...could you perhaps provide a part number or even website? the only springs available were for the es300

The Tanabe springs are the same for all models ES's from '03 to '06. Nothing in the suspension was changed during these years.

Old thread but I think I’m going to get the Tanabe nf210 springs (part number tnf090) for my 06 unless there’s a better spring option out there. I’d like to replace the struts at the same time but what kind will match best with those Tanabe’s? KYB? OEM? Mine are the originals with 160k miles.

Not the same application, but I've used KYB struts with sport springs that had a 1" drop on my old 4th gen Honda Prelude. Worked well.

That’s what I was leaning towards. I believe KYB are the best you’re gonna get without spending the money for OEM, right?
