ok well everyone that has a gen 2 es300 knows how annoying it is having a 6 cd changer in the trunk. My dad has a new rx300 and his is in the glove compartment. So i wanted to know if anyone has transferred theirs into their glove compartment. How hard would it be?????

pull all the cables from the trunk and relocate them to the glovebox.. shouldnt be too hard of a job

I have the 96 es300 I always wanted to put the d changer in the golve box. I just leave it alone because it seems like a big job. Has anyone done this? thanks

yea,its one of those jobs that seem really simple but arent. i have to take alot of panels apart jsut to get to the wiring.,after rewiring ill have to cut open the glove compartment,stick it in there and make it look normal. Then make the triunk look normal.

yeh, I am just gonna have to live with walking to the turnk to change the cd-s. Hey its a great workout.

I like the 02+ with the changer in the center console
