go back a couple pages on here and look at gato's windom page and then look at sk8tr's 00 es with intrax and 18's. I'll post my pics next week with 19's and intrax drop.

I went to one of the local rice meetings last night and saw Ben, aka sk8er251cc. The drop looks awesome in person. We are getting together tonight for a photo session.

I have Intrax on my 96.

an inch and a half probably up front... inch or something rear.

if you use stocks, your ride looks lower than it would with rims

Just my opinion, I wouldn't put on aftermarket springs/struts if I plan on keeping the stock wheels. As juan mentioned, it would make the ES ride lower than normal, which you don't want to happen on a stock wheel setup. There's a reason why the stock springs/struts are on the ES as factory parts

Now for bigger aftermarket wheels (i.e. 17 or 18" and higher), that's usually a recommendation to put on aftermarket suspension parts. Lowered springs and tougher struts better accommodate the larger weight of the wheels, and if you choose wisely, help keep some portion of the "stock" feel of the ride.

Intrax will ride bouncy if your OEM struts are worn out/leaking or are older. It's better to upgrade to stronger aftermarket struts to support the extra work of a stiffer spring rate and shorter suspension travel.

I'll probably eventually get some bigger rims when i get enough money but for now i hate seeing my ES with all that wheel gap and being so high .

You will in fact ride lower if you are on stock wheels... But imo, it isn't so bad if you lower it on stocks. Take a look a my car when I first dropped it with Intrax springs and Tokicos (this was ages ago btw).
