Default Yet another Steering wheel question

I want to put the wood steering wheel in my 92 ES, I was wondering if the airbag from the 92 ES would fit the wood steering from an LS? Thanks

It is a 98 (3rd generation LS), the thing is I am redoing my interior because I have decided to keep the car for as long as it lives, and want to redo the whole interior (two tone leather seats etc) and thought it would be nice to have a nice wood steering (If it can be done for around $400). I know there is this company (american stitches or something) that does iwood leather trim to existing wheels but I don't think I can be without a car for a week or whatever times it takes for them to do the conversion. I used the search function but I saw mostly question about the 3 spoke wheels.
Any ideas would be appreciated

Thanks

The only other wheel that would fit your car w/the airbag would be a 92-96 Camry V6 and it's airbag. You can however use the wood steering wheel from a newer ES or even the LS as long as you have the airbag for that wheel specifically.

Or you can always send out your steering wheel to a company that can add real wood for you. American Stitches is a popular one.

Yeah that is the problem, the wood steering wheels can be had for about $300-$400 on ebay but these are without airbags and the airbags alone cost another $400-$500, whihc would end up setting me back about $700-$900 just for the steering wheel. Oh well, I guess I would have to drop the idea of a wood steering wheel.

Thanks
