Default Stability Control

My parents are going to buy a 2005 ES330. Does anyone have an opinion on the vehicle stability control option? They are trying to figure out whether or not to get that option. Thanks.

I also voice morris' thoughts. I'm pretty sure VSC and/or traction control comes standard to all current Lexus models (don't really see why not)

Is it??

for the middle east the es330 models have this as a standard and not even controlable unlike other Lexus models that have the option to turn it off . It work automatically whenever it's needed an orange light in the dash board will lit showing that the system is on and whenever you pass that condition it will set to off again!!!!

mine has kicked in a couple of times and it has corrected any skidding or problem of the like.
However, all the times it has ever activated was due to snow or ice. Do you get snow or freezing rain? If so, I would say consider it.

If snow and ice is absent or extremely infrequent then I would say save the money, the traction control may be sufficient.

Lastly, if the VSC only comes with the traction control (maybe as a package) then get it.
