Traction Control in staight line
i just wanted to know if traction control is supposed to beep and stuff while ingaging in a straight line.......when ever i mash it off the line.....i hear the wheels spinning but never see any lights or rings for traction control or vsc
is this normal..... i rebuilt my car from salvage...so wasn't sure if some sensor is broke etc.

When I mash it in a straight line, the skidding car icon (light) comes on, but it doesn't beep.
When I mash it when making a turn on a snow covered road, the rear end swings wide and the system goes beep-beep-beep.
I believe the beeper distinguishes stability control (course correction) from simple traction control.

... after a lot early morning fun on snow covered roads:
Traction control is usually just a light flashing.
Beeping is like a primary skid control warning followed by complete throttle cut if the skid continues or worsens.
