'95 ES side mirror replacement
Just noticed a cracked side mirror on my '95 ES. Does that mean replacing the whole assembly or can I just order the mirror glass replacement. Obviously am hoping the latter is an option. And is this an easy "do it yourselfer" or should I schedule service?
I'm pretty sure the entire assembly would have to be replaced, and it isn't too hard since it is screwed on from underneath the assembly to the body of the car. Call up your nearest Lexus parts counter for a quote of the mirror assembly.
you can find used whole side mirror assemblies on ebay for about $20-$30 each or if you want new parts (looks like the mirror itself can be replaced): www.newlexusparts.com
