Yes you can implement the TRD Supercharger for the Solara. Keep in mind that your year 1MZ-FE will accept it as well as the 97, but 99 and after cannot utilize it. It's an age old question, but most people haven't cared to utilize the SC for the ES. As for the TRD SC, you will decrease your mileage with the increased fuel consumption of your engine and higher boost. ...that is if you keep mashing the pedal to the floor. Good luck finding an S/C since they have since been discontined by Magnusson (the manufacturer of the TRD S/C for TRD USA). You'll probably find a few used ones on the Camry and Solara boards up for sale.

Try AEM or Injen. They should have an intake for the 1MZ-FE 98-01 Camry & 99-03 Solara V6 versions. They have the same MAF fittings as yours.

Good Luck.

Cool

I've yet to see anyone here say their intake proved to be better than the stock box + a high flow filter.

I prefer the oem intake setup w/a drop-in over a short ram aka hot air intake myself. That's what I still have on my Solara. I ditched my Injen intake setup for this one. Short ram intakes cause 1MZ-FE's to run extremely rich and foul out your plugs faster.
