Fixed my melted dash

guys i finally got it done. the melted dash was driving me nuts. so much sun glare while driving.
honestly it was not difficult at all. i was very paranoid before starting it but when i did it became interesting and i found it to be easier than i though.
highly recommend do yours and you will be happy with results.
i made a video for anyone attempting to do it themselves.

Thanks for sharing. Been wondering if I will tackle this, my whole dash is melted and it's really bad once it gets warm

This is a nasty job. I had to remove it when I bought my ES350 to remove the windshield clips because of the rattle.
Tomorrow I will remove the dash on a 2024 RAV4 to clean the glass particles inside the HVAC.

Good luck! Back in 2019 I got a company van with 1,950 miles on it. They must of shattered the windshield into the defroster. I sat there vacuuming with a hose for hours trying to get it all out. I now have 150K on it and it still blows out little shards of glass if I put the defroster at 3 or max speed all these years later!!!
