Okay, I found and fixed a leaking VVTi Solenoid/Valve and in closing up I discovered my mystery coolant leak is at the little aluminum tabs on the top of the radiator. They are bright red and damp.
The radiator replacement is in to my collection of manual segment but the Youtube make it look pretty clear.
For our '94 LandCruiser Toyorad is the OE. Looks like people here are talking Denso. The dealer wants $125 for one of theirs which is close to the others.
Any preferences? Is it worth going for the 1"? or does this come with fit issues?

You sure this dealer has the original radiator available? It's been discontinued for some time although dealers may have stock. The price makes me suspicious. Denso towing package version is the easy choice, towing package version drops right in.
I just went back to dealer site - what I see for $125 is what comes up in a search for radiator. When I go through the diagrams I see a ton of discontinued and the one for $400+ and finally my $125. So you must be right they are selling ????
Seeing some recent .. controversies with Denso Radiators (here is a thread), I do have to wonder if Koyorad option would be a better choice, here is a link to one, even if it is the same in terms of quality, at least they don't yet have a thread like that ... yeah..
As far as I can tell, Koyorad doesn't even sell a regular Radiator, just the Towing Package one, the difference is a beefier cross section, although the overall dimensions and the Mounts remain identical, never hurts to have some spare head room.
Okay, new question. I have been loyally using Toyota red coolant on my '94 Landcruiser and this '02 ES 300. No I am reading the new Toyota Pink is 100% backwards compatible with read and can be mixed in any proportion with red.
Is this what others have been doing? The longer life of the Pink would be attractive to me, especially on the Landcruiser.
Thoughts? I am going to get something late this week.
I don't recommend mixing Red with Pink regardless of apparent compatibility. Keep using Red in your Land Cruiser you'll easily get 5 years out of the coolant probably longer, I base this on using it in my own cars. I know the coolant is 3 year but that's too conservative. Also consider that Toyota Long Life (Red) is happy in systems with copper and brass, Pink not so much. Toyota Super Long Life can go for 10 years depending on mileage of course, and how hot your climate is. It can last even longer in a hybrid cooling loop.
BTW I recommended Denso because I recently installed one in a 4ES was happy with the quality, better than some other recent Denso's I've seen.
The 221-1504 arrived yesterday, I won't be disappointed if I get less that 24 years out of it. And I will stay with the Red in the 2002 ES 300 for no other reason than that is what it came with and I doubt I go 3-5 years without some project that has me replacing half the coolant anyway. The upper and lower hoses are 1 year old Toyota and the valley hose is perhaps 3 years old.
I am waiting on a new temperature sender and then I will get going.
New radiator is in and I can tell it is a bit thicker than the original. New temp sensor as well. The only issue I encountered is a fraying hood release cable. For now I have relieve the stress but I guess I will need to replace it in the near future. I had recently replaced the hoses.
Ugh, I have a CV joint to do in my Audi. Then I will do the hood cable. I like staying on top of these issues, but the refresh of the Landcruiser took my eye of the other two cars and I am paying the price.
Unfortunately, Trump's tariffs raised the cost of Amayama's parts, 15%. The recent years before Trump, it was 2-4%. My recent order from Amayama (several days ago) are prohibitively expensive.
