Default 2016 Lexus es300h Mirror compatibility

Hey all. Unfortunately I got in a minor accident today and my passenger side mirror is busted. My question is, are the mirrors for a 2016 lexus es300h compatible from 2013-2018? Ebay seems to think so and has new what they say will fit for under hundred dollars but the oem part is $600 with shipping. Do I have to order the part from lexus or will the aftermarket one fit? Below are links for the cheap one on ebay and the OE part the lexus dealership said I needed. On the Lexus site when I checked to see if 2013 and 2016 mirrors were compatible it said no. The Lexus dealership told me the part number for the mirror assembly is 87910-33b42-j2

OE part:

Ebay part:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/19631123293...3ABFBMkNbL341m

Thanks in advance for the help.

I just checked and physically they are the same. The difference is the BMS, if you have it or no.

Sorry one more question. Is the plug in connector the same? Some say online say 11 pin and some say 7 pin. Do you know how many pins my car has? Also, stupid question I know but does BMS mean blind monitoring system?

It should be BSM - blind-spot monitoring.

Make sure the mirror has: heating element, electrochromic darkening coating, position memory & blind spot indicator. Position memory and BSM indicator were optional features AFAIK, not sure about the other two.

If the Ebay part isn't correct, and I think it won't have BSM, heating, memory, etc. Then you could always contact a salvage yard for the part. I've done it numerous times for my Corvette which is 27 years old and some parts are hard to find. Worst scenario is that you have to get it painted the car color. GOOD LUCK!.

just change the shell if its shell, or the mirror if its the mirror. dont need to change the whole assembly with everything in it.

yes the mirror is the same. but if you're changing the whole assembly, make sure it has the features - e.g, BSM, RCTA etc.

BMS is blind monitoring system.
I need your VIN number to get that information.
