I am having problems finding a master window switch for my Lexus ES. This is for AUS/NZ so its RHD making it very hard to find a used part for this online
Part number is apparently 84820-33100 , according to a toyota dealership its been discontinued.
I have found several similar part numbers 84820-XXXXX for the Prado, Hilux, and Landcruiser ...
China are selling these for the other toyota models, they look identical as far as I can tell https://www.ebay.com/itm/153912871488
I've tried one from a MCV camry but it didnt fit
Do you think the part from the eBay link will work on my ES?
I've heard if the first 5 numbers in a toyota part number are the same then its essentially the same part (second set of 5 numbers is merely regarding LHD/RHD trim, colour, model, etc..?) is this true?
That Ebay part looks correct. Parts cross reference only shows Windom and RHD ES300. What happened to yours doesn't seem like there is much to go wrong. Here's a LHD switch partially dissembled maybe the LHD version can be used for parts to fix yours.
Thanks man, Ill go ahead and buy the eBay one - its only $30 USD so worth a try, even though takes weeks to arrive ...
Weirdly the passenger switch has worn out and terminals aren't conducting ... I placed tin foil in it a couple years ago which kept it going for a while but its fully stopped working now - it glitches the circuit is stopping passenger window from going up or down at all with either side switch
I've tried pulling parts from window switches for the other doors but they don't seem to fit in to the master switch
