What Year and Model is your car?
Aftermarket catalysts have way too many variables to predict how long it will last, hence it's basically a very biased lottery. While you can get CARB Certified catalyst, which has a strict list of requirements to meet said certification, it will likely cost you the same or even more than OEM, so the latter would be the best choice.
