Default Wheel size

Hello, I’m currently on 17’ inch standard lexus wheels I believe 215 width. If I were to go say 225/235 all the way around would I have to get a bigger rim?

Use this page to see how changing the tires will affect things like clearance, speedometer, etc. https://www.wheel-size.com/calc/?whe...cl=50mm&sr=0mm

Yes, your rim is designed to safely take 215 width tire only. Anything of different size, you risk your tire coming off the rim in a hard turn or an emergency maneuver. Also, your tire wear will be excessive.

I would never use a wrong size tire for the rim.
