I got one on there twice, plus it was sorta a bad pic anyhow; somehow the background on one side got messed up...Anyhow, check it out!! Oh, and by the way, how long do I have to refer to myself as a "newbie"? lol Lemme know what y'all think about my car!! I love hearin fellow Lexus owners' opinions!!

Uh, they're in the gallery; just go to the last day and they're right up front. For now anyway..

The mesh is gone now; the one of the car head on is what it looks like now. I think I like it w/o the mesh too myself. If you didn't notice, I added a chrome "rim" on the grille, like the newer models (97+) have. Makes the grille a little more noticeable, b/c before you couldn't even see the darn thing. Oh, and the steering wheel cover; I bought that originally for my 92 ES, as it had the leather wrapped wheel and to say the least, it'd seen its' better days. When I totalled, or should I say HAD that car totalled ( a woman pulled out in front of me; not my fault, but majorly my loss..), I just took it and put it in the new one for the memories I LOVED that car more than anything I've ever owned; even more than this one, but the black one I've got now is in alot better shape, but it's not got the leather wrapped wheel; a cheaper lookin rubber one which gets INCREDIBLY hot in the summer AND winter, so the cover helps keep it a little cooler, plus it looks better than the stock rubber one, AND it adds some "spice" to the otherwise bland totally everything black interior, so....that's my story and I'm stickin to it!! Like you said, to each his own I suppose

That chrome "rim" on the grille and on the air vents looks good. How did you do that?

Looking good! I'm linking in some of the images so people don't have to dig in the gallery

PM me which ones you want removed and I'll take them down for you.

Yeah, we're big Toyota and especially Lexus fans here; one day we'll trade the Cruiser in on a LX450 hopefully. We like them better than the LX470; better bodystyle in my opinion, plus much cheaper..Anyhow, about the chrome trim on everything; it's this new stuff on the market; don't know how to explain it other than it's "chrome tape." You can probably get it at your local parts store, and it's pretty cheap too; just look in the pinstripe section. Mine is actually all done in aluminum ductwork tape, so it's actually real metal, but the stuff I was talkin about earlier is some sorta plastic or vinyl; never tried it though. I'm on a bit of a budget so I do what I can with what I have; don't get me wrong though, ti looks just as good up close as it does in the pics!!

lookin' good. when i first heard the word "mesh" i thought... oh boy... then i saw the pics and it didnt look near as bad as i thought. though... i'm still glad it is gone

take that emblem off the back seat man. it's a chrome metal emblem on a cloth seat. get a nice soft grey cloth emblem stitched on there. that one is too small also (aside of it being metal). Now, this is just a suggestion (JMO) but most will agree it is too small and ummm... metal on cloth? again, JMO... dont take it to heart.

overall i like the car and think you have yourself a great ride
