Default Mechanic stripped engine cradle bolt

So I recently had my control arms changed by a shade tree mechanic and they stripped my engine cradle bolt on reassembly and didn't tell me (I had to find out from another mechanic when I went to get an alignment). I've been looking for a replacement bolt for 3 days and today I finally found one, but no ship that over been too so far knows how to fix the problem or just don't have the right tools.

Does anybody know where I can get the bolt extracted, hole rethreaded or possibly widened and threaded for a larger bolt? What's my best option?

PS: The bolt is just spinning inside the frame, so it's not a rounded head, but stripped threads on either the bolt or the hole

Which one is it exactly? Use this site to find the appropriate diagram.

Sounds like the captive nut has broken away from the body of the car if so then there are several solutions depending on the location, one is to cut a hold in the body.

Does that bolt go through a bracket, through the sub frame then into the unibody? If I have that correct your mechanic is going to need to get creative.

It goes through a brace (which connects the lower control arm to the engine braces), through a bushing, then the engine cradle and after that I think it goes into another brace/mount.

I've found a place that has the bolt in stock but it's the game of getting the old one out and rethreading the hole that I'm confused on.

Are you doing this or a mechanic? If there is indeed a captive nut that is turning this means you can't cut new threads. I've done repairs like this before I cut a hold in the unibody, torched the broken bolt and captive nut then had the nut welded in place.
