I have not inspected or replaced spark plugs on my 99 es 300. driven almost 80K over the last 6 years. now at 200K still running as good as ever. should I inspect or replace them or do nothing?

Show it some love- give it a set of NGK Iridiums. You may even notice a slight difference. My '98 es300 did.

Highly depends on the shop. Some will say the plenum has to be removed and will quote you ~3 hours labour. In reality the plugs can be changed without removing the plenum all it takes is some patience and the right swivel joints/extensions.
I would not buy them on Ebay or Amazon due to the amount of fakes out there even from so called reputable sellers unless you KNOW they are selling genuine plugs. Best bet is an online or local dealer.

I did a DIY for spark plugs for my RX300, but it is almost the same 1MZFE engine as in your ES300. Generally they are changed every 90K, but they can run longer.

Check out "sparkplugs.com" prices/stock. I used them repeatedly when i lived nearby the warehouse.( Menifee, Ca). I did mine myself- fairly easy except the rear middle one takes some hand contortions,LOL!

Worth it. Especially if you haven't ever looked at them like I did. Just changed the ones in my 98 es300 and I'm pretty sure they were the originals; 20 years old. Car ran beautifully but was starting to have issues with rough idling and choppy acceleration. The new plugs made a major difference.
