'98 cabin filters
Well, after reading all about the cabin filters and how to replace them, I figured "why not"? So I bought some nice carbon-laced ones made by Champion. I had just a little trouble getting the stiff carpet pulled back away from the gas pedal. Then came the gymnastic contortions to get up in there to see the removable lid. Got that off after pushing aside a wire loom. So far, OK. Had to use a mirror & flashlight to get a good look in the EMPTY slot(!) Bottom of slot was filled with dried crumbled leaves & twigs, etc. So after devising a makeshift smallish tube taped to the trusty ShopVac, and scraping with a long screwdriver, I got it slot ready for it's new 2-piece filter pair. This pair of filter panels are each differently shaped, and can only go in one way, as I found out the hard way. Finally, after several attempts, I got the first, top one to stay up long enough to wiggle & slide the bottom one in place, Hallelujah! All said and done, this took me over 90 mins. of cramping contortions of an old 62yo body. These will stay there as long as I have the car! Never again! LOL!

I hear ya, worst location ever for a cabin filter. I quite dread replacing mine.
