Default Brake pads 2003 ES300

Would these brakes be good for daily driving or should I look into different/certain brands..
Thanks for any advice . I also want new rotors, trying to get rid of vibration from front end when stopping at higher speeds.

I've been using powerstop pads with centric rotors, switched over from akebono pads and have been very happy

ProAct on my ES, IS and current GS, and performance on my old GS I'm fairly sure. Nothing wrong with them, but the powerstops are half the price, seem to bite a little better, and last just as long. Also had problems with the shims on akebono pads coming loose causing them to make a shifting/clicking noise in my old GS. No doubt there was a reduction in brake dust, especially compared to the OEM pads on the GS and IS, but so do the powerstops.

Thanks good to know. I've installed the Powerstop kits but they haven't been in use long enough to know longevity.

Yeah, another vote here for the ProACTs if you're only replacing pads. For $40 (on most cars, fronts), best pads I've ever used. Quiet, long-lasting, almost no dust, great stopping power.

Also a vote for the Powerstop ceramic kits if you're replacing rotors as well. Still very good for the price.

I bought my brake pads from ebay or amazon for like 50-70 dollars (oem genuine Toyota part). Currently on my second brake pad and rotors at 150,000 miles and still going strong.
