Hello all,
I recently purchased a 1999 ES300 and so far am loving the car. Had a question I only have one master key and am looking to purchase a backup transponder key. I have used the search function and havent really been able to locate any info on a trustworthy site that has keys for good prices. All of the posts I have looked at are pretty old. Has any one tried fobkeyless.com or can recommend a site.

I really dont care if it has a lexus logo or anything as long as it will work.

...I've bought keys from this guy for a '99 (same as above) and an '01 (fob buttons on key). They work great.

...the instructions the eBay seller provides are meant to be universal, but they're a bit wonky in my experience.

One last thing, if you try to start the car with one of the cut keys before programming, obviously it won't start, but it will set a B27xx code or something like that about key communication. If you like to have your code reader say NO CODES like I do, then don't try to start without programming .

I received the key with remote and a valet key when I purchased my gently used 2003 ES300 in 2015. For additional keys (I purchased a backup master key without remote and the slick wallet key for when you accidentally get locked out. I found 1010keys on Ebay and I'm completely satisfied. I didn't have the key code for the "cut part" of the key. I sent a photo of my key and they worked with that and provided me with the key code and programming instructions which worked flawlessly.
