I am trying to put K&N air filter in my 03 ES300, but I can't open the cover. What size Rachet Sockets should I use in order to take it out? 10mm? If some1 has done this b4, let me know......

the key to this install is the small hose that connects to the back of the air box cover. Remove the bracket that holds the hose rather than the hose itself. I think it was one or two small screws. Once your free up the motion here, the right side of the cover will very readily lift up and the Denso filter will slip out from inside the box and the KN will slip in.

Pay close attention the grooves in the KN and match them up with the Denso coming out.
There are two small rectangular impressions to guide you.

I tried to install the K&N filter, everything went smooth but, when i testdrove my car, i heard annoying Hissing sound(not normal, i know what the real intake with K&N air filter sounds like, i got 00 Eclipse with Injen cold air intake) from my intake.... i put my old filter and ran the car again, same result. i believe i touched some hose or hose clamp incorretly....I will go visit dealer tomorrow but if any1 experienced the same problem, help me out!!!
