Default How To Reset ECU

I was wondering how i can reset my ECU...
BTW does the ES have those logic learning ECU? Like the ones that learns your driving style and adjust the shifting to your habit?

disconnect the negative and the positive from the battery. wait thirty minutes. Reconnect.
I have heard that sometimes you hold the cables together for 30 seconds. I have never done this, just make sure they are in no way connected to the battery.

Yes the ES (at least my 02) is a "learning" ECU. According to Lexus customer service and my delaership.

Hahah.. oh well
I guess it's too late now...
I wanted the ECU reset so it will learn the agressive driving pattern when i'm at the track today...

The ES did surprisingly well at the track (was raining little bit - wet track)... some ppl laughed at me when they see me lining up to go on track... but i shut them up by smoking them ( a few 240SX, Civic, Prelude, Integ)...not all though
Kept up with modded Civics and Integ... although got smoked by Integ TypeR and WRX...
It had mad body roll but i was surprise it had grip and i could still power out of the corners pretty fast... the temp guage didn't move an inch at all... the brakes sucked though... after 10 laps or so it was all the way down to nothing...
Recommened PSI front 32 rear 40
Puts the car in a moderate oversteer when braking late which helps tighten your line around the corner instead of understeer...
Tires i had were Piralli P6 all season touring...

30 Minutes??? That's too long. Try 60 seconds. Or if you don't wanna lose the memory settings on your radio and clock, pull out the EFI fuse in the engine bay fuse box for the same amount of time.
