For a 2002-2006, is this the correct plenum gasket?

I ask because the gasket openings are round and much smaller than the intake openings (oval and longer), and also the openings on the plenum itself. It would act as a restrictor plate and also create turbulent flow on the margins (and maybe that is desirable for fuel mix and atomization).

That is what has me confused.
The plenum body has a recess in it for that press-in gasket like you linked. It goes inside the plenum effectively.
Parts catalogs also show the aluminum/composite one I linked that goes between the two (plenum and intake manifold). Trying to figure out how it is supposed to be, and if the parts catalogs are wrong and that is for a 2001-down type with different plenum and cable throttle.
The Fel-pro kit for 2002 shows both:

That is the Lexus part number so if a Fail-Pro or other gasket looks different it is not the correct gasket.

It appears the gasket kits come with redundant gaskets, one for earlier aluminum cabled plenums and one for later plastic drive-by-wire plenums. So that is the source of the confusion.
