?transmission issue

ES 330 2004, has 142,000 miles. It is bucking now and then when accelerating. Could this be my transmission?

Is your check engine light on? If so what are the codes? When was the last time you changed your spark plugs?

I seriously doubt it's the transmission. Bucking is usually,

a bad spark plug, or six.
timing belt failure, slippage (tooth hop), or a timing issue
serious vacuum leak.
a bad maf / afm.
fuel pump issues / blocked filter, low output.
