Hi guys for some reason my trunk light does not always work when I open the trunk. Although it does work if I open with the key, but when I use the trunk release button it almost never works. Does anyone have a solution to this type of things?

Mine just started doing this (doesnt always come on when I open trunk). Wondering if you ever fixed this, or if anyone else knows.

I noticed that my situation is exactly the same:

Open trunk with key.. light is on when I open it.

Open it with button in car, light is off. (but I can make light come on by pressing trunk all the way down [but not closing it] and lifting back up)

Actually, that was incorrect. It just seems inconsistent either way of opening. I just had it come on after opening trunk using interior trunk popper.
