Strange Vibration
Hello all, New to the forums.
I have a '97 es300. At speeds over 60mph (on the highway), I am getting a vibration from the left rear wheel but only when turning to the right. It happens when changing lanes or if there is a right handed bend in the highway. (It does not do this if turning to the left.)
I have watched the wheel with the driver side rear view mirror (pointed down) when I am feeling this vibration and the rim itself appears to be shaking. It does not do this at speeds in town, only at higher speeds.
Any ideas?
Thank you,
Andrew

LOL! I just got this fixed this today...
It's the left rear control arm. There's two, one solid arm, and one adjustable one, have a mech confirm that it's one and not both.
It wouldn't hurt to get a set off ebay [the ones I use], got a complete kit about two years ago now all four links for about 200$
Aftermarket, probably white box equivalent, since Rockauto had nothing at the time... but for the price and how long they lasted, can't go wrong.

Things to check...
1. Check lower control arm for play (jack up the vehicle and shake/tilt the wheels at 12/6 o clock and 3/9 o clock)
2. Check to see if brake caliper is seized (rotate the wheel to see if it spins freely)
