Default Cup holders terrible

I have a 1998 Lexus ES300 and the cup holders are terrible. Every time making a turn, my cup leans over and falls out. I have to constantly hold the cup while driving.

Does anyone know of any companies out there that offer anything aftermarket, and of course much better than the original.

PLEASE HELP !!!!

this is a pretty classic fault of the ES, due to the low clearance for the fold out mechanism, the cupholders are so short you have to hold your drink on the corners...

I know exactly what you mean (had a 2000 ES300 myself). For about $1, you can try those PVC cup holders that have a better fit than your average small-base cup, and try putting your cup in there. Not the best and most stable solution though..

I never close my car's cup holders, unless I absolutely need to. Here's a pic of them after I moved them to my LS430:

Both my front and rear cup holders are broken. I just stopped using them all together.

Avoid spilling anything there. Some auto manufacturers' cars have been known to deploy the airbags if anything leaks into that console area.

Read the following post. I found a great solution at WalMart (with Pictures)

I bought a E46 bmw dual cup holder and mounted it to the top arm rest works awesome only con is that the top arm rest cover has to remain up if you want to use the cup holder.
