Red face Interchangeable

Hello,

I have a 1994 ES300.

The good:
All the mechanical parts are good. Engine, transmission, radiator, etc..

The bad:
The body and interior are damaged badly..

I would like to find a car with a good body but with mechanical issues like needs motor, tranny, etc to swap the parts out. What year(s) would be interchangeable?

Thanks,
Mister Rees

Just seconding what Lexus2000 said, you should be looking for a 1994-1996. While the 92-93s looked almost the same, the mechanicals were completely different, and they were still OBD1.

Default Will a dvti trans mission work with a 1uzfe engine?

I have a 1996 ls 400 and im trying to put a late 97 transmission in it. the only visible difference is the plug on the back of the transmission.. can i change this plug without changing computers?
