Adam, I had to replace the one on my '98 Camry, and it was $250 total, a PPG glass as well. Toyota wanted $500 ONLY for the glass. Give this guy a call, he's off Mannheim, north of Grand, in Franklin Park.

They did a very good job. Takes about a day if you drop it off in the morning.

call your insurance company. they should pay for a new windshield. you still have to pay a deduct if any.

If your insurance company has it, the comprehensive coverage should take care of the glass minus a deductible you'd have to pay first (sometimes $200 or $500). My insurance (Progressive) includes comprehensive with a $200 deductible with full glass.

One more thing you should keep in mind when going to an auto glass shop is to make sure you request for the OEM-type windshield, not the replacement kind. From what I heard, the generic replacements are not that reliable, and you can't go wrong with the OEM.

this thing is just for "bullseye" type cracks. it fills in the hole. it dosen't do anything for spider type cracks.

Yeah, do check with your insurance first, I didn't since my deductible is $500 anyway. But the replacment windshield is OEM-type, just without the Toyota logo. My crack was about 7" long, so those filler wouldn't have worked.

I had my windshield replaced twice, they were about $230 to $250 for non-Lexus brand. I also had the back glass replaced with the Lexus (toyota) brand that cost the insurance $900. Why did I replaced the back glass? An unknown idiot threw a cast-iron frying pan into it, which i had recently tinted it with the mirror tint. The pan also damaged the ash tray cover.
