Do I have the wrong Oxygen Sensor? (picture)
I am replacing my B2S1 Air/Fuel Sensor due to a CEL code P1153 (IIRC).
I pulled out the old sensor and it looks physically different. I also don't know if it's the original part - it doesn't look very old and it says it was assembled in USA.
Here are the markings from both sensors:
New Denso Air/Fuel Sensor
Assembled in USA
192400-8070
03N29
Old Denso Sensor
Assembled in USA
41380
04H18
I ordered the new sensor from Amazon. The Denso part number is 234-9009.
I was told by the dealer(gave them my VIN) that my car has California Emissions Air/Fuel Sensors.
Need an answer ASAP.

I originally used Densoaftermarket.com as a reference for part numbers. I just found another website called Densoproducts.com and it has a more thorough catalog. According to this website, ES300's without California Emissions use a different part (234-4622). I looked up images on amazon for this other part number and it looks just like the old sensor that I removed(with many holes).
I'm curious to see what my B1S1 sensor looks like.
Maybe somebody replaced my front oxygen sensor with the wrong part and thats why its been throwing a code once in a while? I smell gas on cold starts, for brief moment. So I don't know if I'm polluting due to a bad sensor or bad injectors.
Would I cause any electrical issues if I put my new sensor in?

You are correct. Four to five hours later, I have solved the mystery.
This was a real test of my patience, but here are the results:
The B1S1 sensor was the original Toyota part, so I was able to prove my theory. The Toyota part looked just like my new Denso 234-9009 Air/Fuel sensor. The markings read Toyota 89467-41020, which match the California Spec part number.
I decided to put my new Denso sensor in the back (firewall), and I put the used Toyota sensor in the front (radiator). This way, if I will need to replace the Toyota part, it will be much easier.
Here is a pic of the B1S1 sensor that I pulled out. I can't even explain how excited I was when I finally got it out. The sensor tip is actually gray, it's the camera that makes it look brown.
p.s.: Anyone who needs tips on removing the rear sensor, shoot me a PM.
