Default New Paint

I've read a couple of threads out there about people getting their Lex painted. What was/is the range of prices that any of you come up with? Also, were you going to use the Lexus Factory Paint for your job? and finally, if there is a higher quality gloss out there - what is it and where could I find it?

Are you planning on painting your 99? if so be advised that an aftermarket repaint will significantly lower your resale value.

changing the entire paint job will make it harder to sell the car, because some people are paranoid about custom paint job's. a touch up here and there with factory paint is all right... but the entire car done a whole new color, will make it harder to sell, unless it's a factory color with a two-tone match.

Any type of repaint will lower resale value, bodyshop repair etc. Touchup paint no.

OK - then I will backtrack away from a total body repaint. I will be sure to start doing other mods prior to painting.

I had a 94es before this one.. I am ridin' this Lex to the death!

Thanks fellas!
