Holy **** people.....
1: Tap the constant (+) and door (-) wires into the dome light wiring coming from the fuse block/integration relay.
2: Use the car body as the 3rd wire (ground).
3: Wire them into a switch for Door/On/Off, same as the Dome light.
4: Hook whatever footwell lighting up through the switch.
There, you have you floor lighting run exactly liek the dome light, but on it's own switch. Now you can have it to go ON, go one with the DOOR, or have it OFF. And it will not be affected by the dome light.

yup theres that way as well.i wanted that way actually by dome light directly but i dont want to " strip" the roofliner..so ya many ways. About the fuse as long as you dont overload it with bunch of wires, one should be good. and picking the right (higher) fuse is i think should be ok (i think cigratte/power fuse i picked) . Plus i had this LED footlight connected for almost a year now. However its just the rear passenger and not the front ones.
thats my 2cent.
