Question Ski Rack

I have a 2001 es300 and i want to get a ski rack, but dont want to drill any holes. Does anyone know how i can do this? I am asking because the ski racks i have seen seem like they wouldnt work with the es's frameless doors. Any help would be appreciated

I have never seen one available for this car... I looked way back out of curiosity and the search came up dry.

^^ No its not.

We fit three sets in my buddy's old ES300 [1999] thru armrest. It wasn't an easy fit at first but moving the skis around makes it work with very little effort.

Hmm, i had enough problems with 2 i just assumed 2 would be hard, but will give it a try. Where i go in ellicotville is all hilly and roads are always in bad condition, the es300 is surprisingly stable, time to get snow tires and winterize this car again. I just looked it up and somethng called qtips might be able to help me out so i am going to look em up tomorrow

I think i found a possible ski rack called a sierra sx-11. It says its meant for vehicles without a roof rack and is meant only for skis heres a picture on a civic http://rackattacktoronto.files.wordp...ic-us-2871.jpg

Wow!!! that Yak rack looks Awsome. I just bought a 1999 ES300 with 61,000 miles last month and cant wait to put my yak rack on.. Will let you know how it looks and i will post a picture. I have had my yak rack for 17 years. I have already bought the Q clips and i am waiting for my father to get home from his trip so i can get into his basement to get my rack.. If ANYONE is in need of a Rack GO with Yakima.. They are the best and have anything and everything that you will need for it. Thule is a good rack but they dont have a lot of accessories for there racks. If you want a rack system that will last get a Yakima Rack. I am new to this club and i am excited to own my first Lexus...

It looks great with a yakima rack. Problem at the time was when i was looking was that no one here sold yakima, just thule, not only that they were asking 700 fr a yakima rack shipped. I got a barracasters rack for like 50 bucks and woks perfectly for what i need it for

Grey...
On your rack can you carry other gear like bikes? Or are you purely a skier? I mountain bike and camp so i guess they saying is that you buy what you need. I will post more pics after it stops snowing. But this car is SO CLEAN... I really did get lucky with it

I just ski, well ski golf and hockey, but everything else i can keep in the trunk, and thats the main reason i didn't really a pursue a yakima rack was because i only needed something for skiis since i always carry at least 3 pairs when i go skiing and yes es300's are great cars, specially one with low miles like yours does
