wiper blade refills?
Local Autozone(i heard some select still carry), pepboys, and kragen no longer carry wiper blade refills but now only carry WHOLE wiper blade replacements. Does anyone know of any other places I can still get refills? Would the dealer still carry them, and how much?
p.s. please recommend a brand, I purchased rain-x wiper blades but returned them after I decided to check on the internet to see if there are refills still around

You make a good point. I just went to Pep Boys, and all they had out in the aisle was complete wiper blades including the black metal support arm. I went to Kragen Auto Parts with the same result. But I asked the counter guy if they had just the refills, and he went in back for 5 minutes and he finally came back with them. But my car has an 18 inch and a 22 inch blade. So you can't buy only one pair. The refills only come in pairs, so you will have one extra pair, if you can find the refills at all. The Kragen guy told me Kragen is getting out of the refill business. I don't know why.

Thanks for the heads up. I do not mind having an extra pair or an extra refill as I plan on stocking up if I ever find a store that still carries them. Unless I figure out replacing the whole blade would be cheaper haha

I bought a set of refill blades for my 98 ES from Sewell in July for $8.54.
For that price (LS blades may be a little more), why bother driving to stores and looking elsewhere, when the come right to your front door ? (Shipping may add a few bucks more, but it still is the easiest way to go.)

Thanks everyone for the replies. Thought I would not bother saving a few bucks with the hassle of trying to find which stores still carry refills, I went to my local dealership which sold them for 10.50 each. Free install too which was a plus (made me feel better that I didn't save a few bucks). Wiping cleaner than the after market pair I had! The tech did notice that the metal slides that slid into the wiper blades were bent and he said something about after market wipers, looks like as long as the dealership is keeping their prices I am going to keep buying them from here.
