Clear Corners
I have a 2001 ES300 and I want to start making this car stand out to the other ES300's in my area. How do I clear my corners while avoiding any kind of damage to the lens/housing? I hear how people bake their corners but I'm not quite sure where to go from there.
for the 97-01 generation most if not all who get clear corners just buy the jdm ones or the knock offs. 92-96 is the generation that most bake their headlights. the 97-01 ones can be found on ebay every now and then.
Yep. The one's on my 2001 looks like the amber is 'part of' the clear surround. Not sure since it 'looks' like that to me.
On eBay, they are like anywhere from 20$-50$ plus shipping.
Mind you, DixonPai Made a thread about these a while back and it showed and he confirmed that they do not fit 100% like OEM. That they have a small gap between the fender and the edge of the light.

or maybe I'm miss understanding what you are saying. I think what you are saying is to use one part of the JDM's and one part of the after market ones, right? Then put them together as one. So if you were to do that you might as well just do one set to save time and money unless you screw the first ones up

that sounds like a good plan but it's not what i'm trying to say aha. i was asking if i should either buy the aftermarket ones on ebay and install them, rather than taking off the reflectors myself. i also looked on ebay, the only have the corners for 97-99 models. seeing how mine is 2001, it's still the third gen es. will they still fit?
