$3,000 out the door.
They painted every area you could possibly reach by hand. You can't see any evidence of the old paint color. They even painted areas of the car you can't see such as the doors behind the lower door body molding. So even if someone started taking the car apart they would have no idea the color wasn't originally black
The car has the smoothest paint of any car I have ever seen. I'm quite happy with it.

Thanks!
I love the new paint job too. I'm in a little bit of a dilemma. The car drives and handles great with two people in it, but when one heavy person or two people are in the rear seat the tires rub on the rear fender lip. I'm trying to work up the nerve to trim it. I could put the stock springs back on; I kept them for just this reason. This car rarely has more than two people in it, but it is nearly un-drivable with three or more.
What do you all think?

Yeah, I wish I knew the wheels would rub before paint but I didn't realize they did until the other day when I finally had four people in the car. I've been reading that rolling the fenders can dimple the outside of the fender even with the right tools. It sounds like most opt for trimming.
