ES300 Trunk Button Problem

ES300 Trunk Button Problem
Trunk button in the cabin doesn't open the trunk when pressed. Trunk opens when with the remote and key, but not the button inside.
Any ideas?

There is a button in the glovebox that can disable the dash button. Make sure it is in the correct position. I disabled mine on accident when I was trying to eject the CD cassette. Took me a while to figure out that this is what happened.
