Hello, all.
Actually, I'm not an owner of an ES, but my 70-year relative has 2004 ES 330 that is currently parked in my driveway. When he was visiting my in-laws staying at my house last night, we heard his car's alarm going off and I went out to check his car with a remote, the unlock or lock buttons did not work.
I opened a driver's side door manually with a key and tried to start the car, but it will not start. The gauge cluster light was on, but when I tried to start the engine, I did not hear any clicking or cranking sound. I thought the jump start may work so tried it, but it did not work.
Currently, remote buttons do not work, interior/head lights would not turn on, but power windows and power seats do work. I think it may have something to do with security/alarm because right after the alarm went off suddenly, it would not start, but I'm not an expert, so am not sure what is wrong with the car.
Warranty has already expired, so before having this car towed to a dealership, I wanted to get some advices from owners of this forum if this is something that can be fixed without getting the car towed and the dealership getting involved.
Any helps would be greatly appreciated!

I would check your fuses first. If you accidently hooked up the jumper cables backwards, you may have fried something. So check every fuse and relay you can get at. After you charge or replace the battery, (with the doors closed), connect the battery and *immediately* hit the unlock button on the key fob and try to start the engine. The alarm will go off and immobilize the starter if you dont. I have to do this procedure on my Solara. Oh and make sure your battery cables and grounds and tight and immaculately clean.
