Talking does adding fuel injection cleaner to your gas help?

If at every other fill up I add the fuel injection cleaner or octane boost will i see any MPG or performance improvement?

I listed a few other changes I wonder if any owner have done. I would like to hear everyone input
  • anyone add a KLM air intake?
  • change the exhaust to a megaflow?
  • changed the spark plugs NGK?
  • can you change the chip?

Not like i have the money to do all that I wanted to see if any owner has had the time or money to make the changes, and was there a change in performance.

Yes, adding fuel injector cleaners like STP and Techron will slighty increase mpg and performance, and clean out your injectors pretty well (Not as much as seafoam, but that's another discussion). Now every other fill up? Unnecessary. Let's go with every/every-other oil change.
And octane boosters? Don't waste your money on those gimmicks.

Also, Don't go wasting your time on fancy air filters that claim to give you +xx horsepower, just stick to paper filters or...

And for the ecu... Piggyback? I'm sure you won't fool the ecu for any amount of time. But hey, they're cheap so why not.

thanks, I added the fuel injector cleaner today, looking forward to a cleaner acceleration. adding the air intake look like you have to be a DIY person.

thanks

you will not have any improvement unless there is a problem that it can cure

but there is enough in CURRENT gasoline already to keep a system good

Use Shell premium gasoline and you will accomplish both goals--clean the engine--injectors etal AND for less $ increase the octane rating SAFELY. Lexus manual says octane boosters can damage engine. Midgrade will do well also, but for 20cents per gal, $3 or so per fillup----and better gas mileage, better engine performance, longer engine life, non-debate proposition.
