how do i know
hey i was wondering if someone can help me figure out if my car has a hid kit or not. i bought a brand new 2001 es300 in 2000 and was wondering how i can find out if it has hid kit. i just put in new xenon 8000k bulb.

btw, if it was hid, itd be d2r. and h7 is standard halogen. i have a set i will probably let go of real soon with 6.5k d2r.

^Your right d2r is the factory bulb. Its the Acura factory bulb that is d2s.

no not all. my brothers is d2r. but most of the hid stuff switched over to d2s with the projector. d2r is reflector almost always.
