Default Proper tire size for new rims?

What tire size should I get for a 97 ES300 with 16" rims - 215/55r16 0r 205/60r16?

Thanks,

John

Thanks,

Both will work fine. It's all a matter if you want stock specs or plus 1 sizing...which means you keep the overall diameter as close to or equal to stock height. I'd say go with the 215s. Beware though...these tires will cost a little more.

Rims size.

FYI: tire for that would be (1992-2001 ES300) 225/45 r18 (1.88% taller than stock 205/65 r15)
