How do you figure the tread width of a tire? I am running 215's and am thinking of putting on 245's. I would like to know the width in inches. for a comparison.

Skipped those math classes, huh?

The 215 measurement is in millimeters. There are 25.4 millimeters per inch. Hopefully you can use a calculator.


If you have 215's you won't be able to put 245s on the same rims.
