Winter shot
Winter is finally here, even though the solstice isn't official for another 20 days, You can't tell that by my pic. Poor ES. No warm garage to keep her warm. I just put on my winter wheels last night. You sunny states have it made this time of year.
It's touchless washes for the next 5 months. Old man winter has come right on cue...

Which reminds me that this is the first year my ES is seeing the winter weather.. The owner before took her down to AZ every winter.. Lets see how she does

Now you get to work the heated seats. I click my seat to high when I first get in, and every time I forget that I even have it on until my butt starts cooking. That's when I remember and click it too low.

[sigh] no, those of us trapped down here don't have it made... last snow we got was a dusting in 04 and it caused an 18 hour traffic jam in town...
i miss snow. i'm a northerner at heart, icicles hangin' off the car and all.

You suck Slooooooow.
Waking up in the morning and seeing everything covered in fresh snow is one of the perks. Something that words cannot describe sometimes.
Works like a champ in the snow and ice. I have Bridgestone Blizzak REVO 1's for my winter set up. Studless snow/ice traction. Very soft tread.
The traction control kicks in when you hit icy patches and the light will flash on the dash when it engages. I lived in WA for a while so I know what it is like to drive in the snow up there. Seattle/Tacoma area for 17 yrs. Miss the skiing.

I remember my es last winter it was awesome. I don't know how i'll drive the subi this winter without traction control but I do have awd now so that should make up for it. I still feel bad for my es its sitting behind the dealership out in the snow with all her body damage till spring. Oh and you guys without snow don't know what you are missing snow can be a beautiful thing and there is no better feeling than going over a lake at 110 on a snowmobile.

Yep, my ES is, at this very moment, getting buried under a layer of falling snow. And I hear we are going to get freezing rain on top of it tomorrow. I might need a chizel to carve my way into it on monday morning...Ice sculpture anyone?
