I'm trying to decide if I am going to invest some serious $$$$$ to really make the ole ES-5 like new again. I think it would be a fun project, but I'm not finished with the GS yet.....

Hmmmm, maybe a poll......
lol I think you should! Having a rare restored piece of history, who wouldn't want that?
those are some sweet pics Smitty. I'm no OG here, but I been here 2 weeks before I bought mines a little over 1 year ago. Lots of Nice members to share ideas with and share our own modded ES. I wouldn't know half the stuff I do now if it wasn't for other Proud Es enthusiasts
I use to be on Honda-Tech forum before, but I don't see leaving ClubLexus for a long time.

Good. I'm gonna need someone to cruise with next time I'm in FL
Although I'm planning on getting a GS sometimes towards the end of next year I'm keeping the ES. That way I'll have 2. The ES "hopefully" will be 95 percent done come this spring but we'll see.
My old ES300 is still up and running. Pretty much stock now except for the paint job and the Apexi WS2 exhaust. Still got the full body kit and wing lying around.
