98 es300 and my Sub is a Nakamichi that says 2 ohm. Well i just Died (cracked). Can I put a 4 ohm in there or does it have to be 2 ohm? Im cheap, and I want to put a kicker 8in Free Air, but it says 4ohm. WIll that work?

To be a little more specific, you have two options. One is to just buy a single voice coil woofer at 2ohms. The second option is to buy a dual voice coil woofer that are 4ohms. If you go with the dual voice coil option, you can wire them to 2ohms by simply connection both positives and both negatives together. That is also called wiring the voice coils in "parallel." The four ohm woofer will not break anything but, the lower the ohm(resistance) the more wattage it can pull because, there is less resistance.
