Moronic Colorado laws enacted jan1,06

no, just cars and trucks.
its just funny. they wait for people to street race and pull them over but anytime a new racetrack is built they close it down for sound ordinance violations....the tracks they do have in colorado they keep closing for various reasons also. its retarded.

Move to Alabama, we don't need exhausts provided there is a nice burble from a custom cam & you dont' drive exhaustless in the middle of the night.
So.... Technically, you can still turbo/supercharger your vehicle :P
No problems!

I would not worry about those too much. My college buddy in Florida says they have a no mods rule on the books there, but for many years they have had no state inspection or even emissions testing. It was one of the loosest states. All the cops ever tell him with regard to his modified Corvette is just not to rev it up (noise) in the neighborhood and race it at the track. The police in his area are well aware of the no mods rule, but they could not care less.
I think those kinds of laws are enacted as another way of punishing street racing.
Very moronic for California especially since I have friends there with modified suspensions for offroad use.
Ricers, I don't like. If you are going to modify your vehicle and put a fart-can muffler on it, get it powered up by real aftermarket parts not racing stickers.

Thank the ricers for that one. Think about it from their standpoint, you have these gay little cars buzzing around bouncing all over the place due to their cheap APC coilovers on stock springs...**** gets old after a while. That was one of the reasons I left the Honda game(and I had 5 Hondas over the years), tired of being stereotyped as a troublemaker and constantly being pulled over for no reason. None of my cars were even ricey, dead stock on the outside just lowered significantly---but done properly. Ricers really ruin things for the true enthusiast

As they have a list of updates for all the states pertaining to legislation.
Here in Mexico City, we have tons of rice rockets but except for emissions testing, nobody cares how low or even how loud your car is.

I do know of a few cases here among racing friends where their cars were jacked so low some of their aero kits would scrape the ground on occasion or nick a pothole. There, I could see an issue. I have seen lowriders here so low they literally turn into a cowcatcher for trash, even cigarette butts.
