cladding falling apart
My cladding is falling apart!
It looks like top of cladding uses double sided tape/material to hold on to the car, one of my cladding got so dusty and the tape isn't good anymore. Where can i get some fresh ones??

I agree that the lower cladding is held on by clips and double-sided adhesive, as shown in the pic below:
I don't think it's necessary to replace the cladding with a new one. It may be as simple as replacing the adhesive and/or the clips. You won't know until you actually remove the existing cladding. Your Lexus/Toyota body shop should be able to help you out.

Hey lexusk8, will he be able to just pry off the cladding from the outside or will it require him to open the interior door panels?
I wish I had seen that panel when I wanted to fix mine...ended up getting a friendly lex tech take care of it for free

Is there a name for the adhesive?

I would think that the adhesive is the same as the one used to hold the front and rear emblems on our cars. Again, the technical term for this is double-sided automotive adhesive, and 3M is one brand that carries this. You can find this at almost any auto parts store, or even Wal-mart
