Default weird noise from engine

Just recently i have noticed a whinning noise coming from my engine. Under further inspection i have detected that the sound is coming from under the timing belt cover or somewhere in that area. The timming belt was changed at 70,000 but now it has close to 150,000. The noise only happens whenever i give it gas, and when the engine is at idle. There is no noticable accleration problems only that weird noise when i give it gas. Oh yeah its a 95.

You might need new belts.

Like what was said above, time to change the belts. Considering you drove 70k to replace the timing belt, another 70k would have had you replacing the belt at 140k. Since you're 10k over that, it's definitely time to change them out again.

Does the noise get worse when the a/c is on? It could be the harmonic balancer(crank pulley). Take the belts off and check the pulley for wobble.
