Put the post in the racing section, and this link is for those who don't go there often. I met up with jbrady and AGS400 from here in Houston and we put them on the track.
92K miles and original plugs,... runnin' ok I guess,....
I don't have the others times,....but they were running 99 LS400, and a 98 GS400 against my 97 SC400 (I think I was slightly disadvantaged by 30 horses, but that's ok though ...all in good fun ).

Ouch... if those are the times ur putting up w/ a '97 SC4, then i'd really hate to see how my '93 SC4 would stack up. I thought the SC4 would at least be running high 14's. Too bad the aftermarket treats our car like an neglected step-child.

I think the 98's are more capable of 14's,... The 99 LS400 and 98 GS400 were doin' like 14.6 - 14.7 ish times at 96mph or so.
When I get new plugs, I'm goin' back to see if that makes a difference since i have 92K miles on the factory plugs.
I was kinda dissapointed myself, but once a few mods go on, we'll see what happens then.
I had traction problems gettin' off the line, as you can see, I got a 92mph trap speed on one and got a worse time with the higher speed.

the 97 sc4's had the same engine setup as the 95/96 models - 260hp, 270 torque. even tho the new body style kicked in in 1997, the VVTi didn't until 1998 (290hp/290 trq). 92-94 models have 250hp/260trq, so they are only slightly less powerful than the 95-97 engines.
